Welcome to Slam Jam E-Wrestling

It's 1999, a new year, bringing a lot of possibilities into your virtual lives.
One of those is another E-Wrestling site, that headed originally from the 'real life wrestling' site, The Slam Jam Homepage.

My name is Martijn 'Yardbird' Rovers and I like both Professional Wrestling and E-Wrestling a lot, so I contacted Willem ([email protected]), if he'd like to do something with E-Wrestling and he told me that it's not the primairy goal of his wrestling page, but that he would help, if I'd put up a page around it.

So I did and we agreed to make it an additional, but separate part of The Slam Jam Wrestling Page.

Looking for someone, who's got what it takes to be one of the best fed-heads on the net

Willem and I are real busy with our own commitments and, though we'd like to, we don't have time to bring you a league of our own.
What more pleasant would it be if we could find an ally to join us, members of the team of the Slam Jam Homepage, that will take care of our very own E-wrestling league, because many of you requested us to have one here!
We'd like to invite anyone who thinks he's a great fed-head (the best?) on the net to participate!
But first, please read about our policy on E-Wrestling Federations

E-wrestling waiting list

Hi, guys and gals, We need your opinion about this: would you like us to make a page on which you can leave your e-mail address and "wrestler-name", to be chosen for e-wrestling feds? If enough people do, we'll put up a page for it!
I've decided to reserve a part of this space for those who want to join an E-fed, but encounter "already closed to new wrestlers"-pages.
E-presidents can visit this page and ask you whether you like to join or not! How about that? Therefore we invite to 'sign up', it means: you leave your name, wrestler/team's name and E-mail address (only that, no more), and anyone that wants to join wil be put on a special members waiting-page.
Who comes in first will be first on the list. He/she'll be informed by the Fed-head only and will get the chance to join.

What happens after that is totally up to you and your Fed-head! We won't solve any fueds or whatsoever!

Slam Jam E-Wrestling will actually ally itsself with no more than ONE league.
The only exeption on this will be made if there should be enough Female Wrestlers to form a separate league (and of course someone that likes to fill in the gap!).

  • What we also welcome is people that like to be colour-commentators/match-writers.
    Those people are often sought after by many a league!
    Remember, this could be your first step to fame and glory.
    Story-writers may like this job and are invited to be just as creative as they like.

  • Designers are also invited to make their art visible.

    If you like you can design a logo that catches the eye or make a virtual environment, maybe even an award-winning JAVA-based virtual wrestling world! Of course you can plan all of this together with a FED-Head.

  • Fed-Heads can also leave a message on what they like to see designed!

    Looking for creative people!!!

    Planned also are designs for the Slam Jam E-Wrestling Award and maybe a Slam Jam Award of Excellence, that could be given to marvellous Wrestling pages or to people, that are doing/designing remarkable things in Wrestling.
    So you see there's a lot coming and you can participate. We are currently looking for a designer, so please contact us, if you can!

    Finale

    So right now we (you, I and other signed up wrestlers in here) are no more than a bunch of homeless creations and creators looking for a 'wrestling home', but soon there will be a nice, friendly 'Fed-head' passing by, in need for a full league, and right here is where he/she finds all he/she needs.
    How long can he/she resist this golden opportunity? We don't think that it will be long!>
